TUSCARAWAS - "It was a real team effort," Coach Aaron Miller said of his Broncos (2-3) (5-6) after their decision over Coach Dick King's Purple Riders (1-4) (5-7).  Both teams hit 25 fielders, but the difference was at the foul line where the Broncos hit 15 of 25, while Port hit 10 of 22.  Port; however, gave it a real try when they came out after halftime on the short end, 28-27.  It led 42-40 at the end of the third, but fell short in the last frame.  Terry Rainsberg led the winners well-balanced attack with 18 points, while Vic Vesco hit 14 and Ben Metzger canned 12 and Rick Staley followed with 10.  Jim Bender took the night's honors; however, with 22 points.  The Tusky Reserves (7-3) also blew off the Port Washington Reserves (3-6) 49-39.
