Midvale's Bob Sherrell remained perched on top of the Class B League scoring column with 151 points in the first eight games, his closest rival being Ike Hostetler of Sugarcreek-Shanesville. Hostetler took over the second place berth from Gene McPherson of Stone Creek who had been in the first-place spot before Sherrell corralled 35 points against Baltic. Hostetler had 129 for his total while McPherson was very near with 126. Maurice Lundenbergar of Bolivar and Harold Ridenour filled out the first five places with 115 and 113 points respectively. Two newcomers to the top 20 in this week's tabulations were Carl Pissocra of Midvale and Bill "Colonel" Pissocra moved up to the 17th place while Willard clung to the last spot in the first 20.
