Midvale Notches 1st Tournament Victory 45-21 (2-17-1950)

Coach Bill French's Blue Devils had little trouble dropping Port Washington's Purple Riders (5-12) into the consolation tourney as Harry Rennicker and Bob Sherrell, who was benched midway in the second quarter after he drew his fourth personal, paced the county league champs with 15 and 14 markers. The Blue Devils posted quarter leads of 12-6, 21-13, 31-14, the Riders scoring but one point in the third quarter. Bob Frank and Bill Jones sparked the losers with six point's each.
