Port Washington's victory-starved Purple Riders (3-9) rolled to their third triumph in 12 starts Tuesday night by tripping Fresno 44-38 on the home floor. Trailing 6-4 at the close of the first round, the Riders got rolling in the second period and forged in front to stay, posting second and third period margins of 21-18 and 34-27. Bob Jones paced the winners with 12 points while his mates Bill Jones and Harold Weber each collected 10. Todd lead the Fresno crew with 13 markers.
