Tuscarawas Class A Basketball League Standings (2-1-58)
Midvale's rampaging Blue Devils (14-2) wrapped up their first county league title in eight years last night when they trampled on the Port Washington Purple Riders (1-15) 84-42 for their seventh straight loop triumph. They still have one league game against Baltic (11-6) remaining on their schedule. The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (10-5) ended their league season with a 64-53 triumph over Baltic for their fifth win in eight loop tests, good enough for a third place tie with Stone Creek (10-7) which has already completed its league season. In the other league game Garaway (9-9) rode the Tuscarawas Broncos (7-7) to an 85-71 triumph. Garaway now has a 4-4 mark which moves them ahead of Baltic into fourth place, while Tusky has won but one league game in seven outings and are bound to a seventh place finish, despite having one more contest to play.**LEAGUE STANDINGS*1.
